“Getting to Net Zero in Tahoe: Taking Local Action”

 Climate change seems like a scary and complex thing that is happening somewhere else.  But in truth it will have a very big impact on our lives here in Tahoe in the near future. Nick Exline will host a conversation with community members taking action to address this challenge. Link to view recording. 

 Attendees will be empowered with current information on the global climate movement and global net-zero goals, connected with other youth leaders, and introduced to local projects, programs, and opportunities addressing climate change.

 Trish Sussman hosted a high school stats class with the help of Sunrise Movement South Lake Tahoe hub founders and local students Knilah Penn and Sage Alexander. They learned that there is a lot of great progress toward climate solutions and that it's time to join the action! Recording available to school personnel only.

 Voting is the single most powerful climate action you can take.  Meet your local elected official climate champions and learn how to meaningfully support their campaigns.
